Hardwood floors run through the open concept space with large windows allowing natural light and landscape views. The primary bed and bath was recently redesigned as a minimalist, zen retreat for calm and relaxation.
The property is bordered by beautiful wooded areas, filled with short hiking paths and a babbling creek. Part of the property borders the DEP land surrounding the Neversink Reservoir, which is a protected park area. The landscape is quiet and serene, making the area the perfect place to hike, kayak, fish and relax. Our road dead-ends at a small farm that borders the Catskill State Park.
Although the area is quite rural, there are new restaurants and activities popping up in neighboring towns of Livingston Manor and Parksville. We are near Bethel Woods, which has music and family events throughout the summer. The casino in Monticello (Resort World) is a 25 minute drive. with several restaurants and a spa. There are beautiful golf courses, hiking, fly-fishing, outdoor activities, state parks with swimming and boat access and town parks during the summer. There are charming ski mountains within 20 minutes drive in the winter and Belleayre is 50 minutes away. With 2 kids, we tend to enjoy the property and relax. There is plenty of wild life to enjoy right in the backyard including deer, hawks, geese, herons, wild turkeys, and more!
